Designed for expeditions and mountaineering, these high quality tents are durable and will protect you when you are camping in harsh weather conditions. Tents have come on a long way since the classic orange, A-frame Force Ten tent of old. Force Ten design and technology continues to ensure that their range of tents are solid and reliable.
Our new tent models are the Nitro Lite 200+, Meso 3 and Strato 2 which we are offering along side the Helium 2, ION2 and MTN 2.

All three of our new Force 10 tents have a tunnel design incorporating pointed arches. This “Gothic Arch” pole design allows for greater wind stability and increased water and snow run off capabilities making this an ideal tent for year round use. They also feature the TBS Pro tensioning band system that helps provide stability against strong winds.
Force Ten Nitro Lite 200+ Tent
Ideal for long expeditions and cycle touring, the Nitro Lite 200+ is an ultralight tunnel tent with an extended, double entrance porch. There is plenty of room to sleep two people, store lots of gear and cook whilst protected from the elements. With a 4 season rating and a weight of only 1.76 kg, the Nitro Lite 200+ is a hardy tent that is not too heavy to carry. The lightweight fly sheet is made from 15D Ripstop Nylon and has a hydrostatic head of 3000 mm. The poles are ultralight, being made from aluminium alloy by Yunan. The RRP is £525 (Feb 2015).

The main features common to all three of these Force Ten tents are:
- All in One Pitching – both the flysheet and inner pitch as one, making it simple and quick to pitch and strike the tent
- Flysheet – Siliconised/PU Backed – the outer face has a siliconised coating to enhance the water repellency, increase tear strength and protect against UV degradation. The inner face has a polyurethane coating for waterproofing and to allow the seam tape to effectively bond with the tent
- Groundsheet – PU Backed bathtub groundsheet made from 70 denier nylon fabric provides a balance between low weight and high durability, with 5000mm hydrostatic head and taped seams
Force Ten Meso 3 Tent
Like the Nitro 200+, the Meso 3 is a tunnel tent with an extended porch. With enough room to sleep 3 people and hold plenty of gear, it is ideal for backpacking, cycle touring or driving to the campsite. The Meso 3 weighs in at 3.28 kg and features FlexLite 7001-T6 lightweight alloy poles. The fly sheet is made from 30D Ripstop Nylon and has a hydrostatic head of 5000 mm. The RRP is £400 (Feb 2015).

Force Ten Strato 2
The final tent in our trio is the Strato 2. The Strato 2 is a two man tunnel tent with a standard single entrance porch. This design is more suitable for general purpose camping or backpacking trips where you are not taking lots of gear and/or will be camping for fewer nights. Like the Meso 3 it has FlexLite 7001-T6 lightweight alloy poles and a 30D Ripstop Nylon flysheet with a hydrostatic head of 5000 mm. The Strato 2 weighs 2.26 kg and has an RRP of £300 (Feb 2015).
