This blog was written between 2008 and 2016 as part of the camping shop Adverture Centre Ltd and it’s website CheapTents.com. The shop and website have permanently closed but the blog contains popular posts about the outdoors that are still relevant and being read. For this reason the blog has been moved to free hosting on WordPress in order to keep the content available. If you enjoy our posts and/or find them useful, please share on social media and link to us. Thank you!

Who Are We?

CheapTents.com was an outdoors website owned and run by the Adventure Centre. The Adventure Centre was a retail store located in Warrington (between Liverpool and Manchester) which specialised in camping equipment, as well as a wide range of other outdoor activities.

The Adventure Centre has over 25 years experience in the outdoor leisure industry. All of our staff are experienced, passionate, friendly and always willing to offer sound advice.

The CheapTents Outdoor Gear Blog contains product reviews, gear advice, interviews with adventurers and professional athletes, trip reports and more. There is sure to be something of interest for anyone who loves the Outdoors!
